Day 249 – There is so much to be thankful for in this life. I love to fall asleep thinking about all the wonderful beauty all around me.

Day 64 – December 7, 1941 – “…a day that will live in infamy…” FDR.
This statue is part of a larger display memorializing the other major conflicts America has been in. Someone had left the rose in her hand. I thought that it was worth remembering all the women who serve in wartime and the sacrifices they made.

Day 13 – Every day I drive by this gorgeous public rose garden. It is a beautiful sight to see the flowers still in bloom so late in the year.
