Day 330 – A beautifully warm autumn day has brought the birds out to the feeder.

Day 321 – We have this great bird house in our backyard that I have nicknamed “Birdie Mansion”. It make look a little rough on the outside, but it is fully occupied with Birdie and all her friends.

Evening on the Wire
Day 261 – The birds that migrate through this area find some room in the tree line. But some birds like a better view from the guide wires of the large cell tower.
Seagull
Day 258 – I was going through some old photos today and I came across this one. We were at the Lincoln Park Zoo and the seagulls were out near the food court looking for lunch. They are quite used to people so it’s possible to get fairly close. But don’t expect them to pose if you don’t have a tasty morsel for them.
Summer Nest
Day 256 – We discovered this little nest in our backyard tonight. I am not sure if it has been abandoned or not. Guess I’ll have to keep an eye out for mom and dad.
