Week One – Backyard Nature

Week One – Backyard Nature

Yes! I have returned to my beloved photo blog. After a long hiatus I am back to taking photos for fun! This year I will be posting photos on a weekly basis instead of every day. Look for those new photos every Friday. I have created a list of topics to help guide me. If you’re interested in the list, please email me and I will be happy to share it with you. Ok, see you next week!

Day 302 – The last summer flowers are fading. Soon the hardy mums will be blooming and the green leaves will turn golden, orange and red.

Day 223 – The strange weather that rolled through our area got quite a few people out with their cameras, at least until the thunder boomed.

Bearing Fruit

Day 207 – The pear tree is bearing fruit. I just hope we get to the pears before the bees do. Last year we lost the entire crop to some very hungry wasps.

Peter Rabbit

Day 206 – When our son was very young we read to him every night. Some of his favorite stories came from a collection of Beatrix Potter stories – Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Benjamin Bunny, Ginger and Pickles.
