100 Paperclips

Day 100 – Today is the 100th photo on my blog. It reminded me of “Day 100″ in elementary school when we celebrated the 100th day of the school year.  Kids would have to bring in 100 like items – pennies, cotton balls, beans, whatever they could think of. I always liked paperclips.

Conservatory Koi

Day 99 – Some of the koi fish in the Conservatory pond were huge. This white one was by far the biggest.

Large Leaf

Day 98 – This enormously large leaf caught my attention. I love the symmetry of the larger veins and how the smaller ones look like a spider web. Also, the water splashes on it remind me of paint.

Everyone Watches the Winning Pitch

Day 97 – As our attention turns to the upcoming baseball season, I wanted to share this picture. It was taken at the Brewers playoff game last summer. The end of the game had everyone’s attention – even the Hot Dog guy, who put down his cart of red hots to catch the exciting final moments of the game.

Summer Boats in Winter Water

Day 96 – These summer paddle boats are all ready to go. Too bad the weather isn’t warmer.

Companions

Day 95 – I saw this man and his dog down by the river. He was struggling to adjust his load while his dog waited patiently. I heard the man reminding the dog to stay and wait and he would give him a treat in just a minute. They seemed to need each other very much.

Day 94 – I spent some time at the local Conservatory this morning. They have transformed a humble green house in to an amazing and breathtaking experience.

Looking Back

Day 93 – Looking back – something I try not to do too often. Looking forward is where it’s at!

Double Date

Day 92 – I don’t really get in to Valentine’s Day but these happy couples seem to be enjoying themselves.
